Bleh... life got in the way a bit, so it ain't that great, but here they are, my Sky Pirates for the contest.

"You'll never find a more whacked out bunch of rejects who can manage to make you feel like you can call them comrades one minute, then infuriate you to the core the next!" -Attributed to Deisel Bonne

It's hard to say really if they can be called true "sky pirates", but they can sure be just as irritating and problematic, if not more. The Three Banditos are perhaps one of the oddest groups of... anyone to ever walk the planet. One minute they'll be digging, then the next they'll be protecting your town, then the next they'll be looting it! Heck, there is a good chance they'll later come back and act as "Robin Hood and his merry band of men" coming to the rescue (serious, it has actually happened once). They are a jack of all trades who do just about anything they want... which I suppose does make them sky pirates since that is the point, to do whatever the hell you want. The group is based off of their leader's father's old mercenary group, even using the same symbol (a hatted eagle). WHile they do enjoy digging (unlike other pirates), they do tend to get bored. When they get bored they'll either go pirating hapless folk, or hiring themselves out, often to clear out reaver bots or defend against pirates. Another thing to note is that one day whilst diggins in some old ruins near an abandoned city from before the mass flooding, they came across an odd find. A collection of old cassete videos, which turned out to be documentaries of a legendary team's heroic exploits, all for the right price. Their behaviour can be somewhat explained then as they took to these legendary heroes, one of them even trying to emulate their favorite of the historic team.

Starting from the left...

~"Mad" Mac "Snipe"~
No one knows his real name, not even his partners. They came across him when they had been hired to protect a town from some pirates. After the battle was over, Mac was still sniping at the defenders from somewhere in the ruined part of the town. Throwing things to fate, Romero Numez decided to challenge the sniper to a game. If he could nail down Romero for the count, he would be free to go, but if Romero could last for 10 minutes against him, he'd have to surrender and agree to work for him for ten years, no exceptions. So Romero came out into the open and tried to search out the sniper, but Mac just sat there and sniped off at Romero. He finally made the first hit, but when he was about to come out of hiding, he saw Romero rise and continued to snipe at him, landing several shots. But he just kept coming and the minutes dwindled. Finally the ten minutes were nearly up, Mac had only one shot left, and Romero was now about to be on top of him. When he found Mac, he had the rifle at Romero, they just stood there for what seemed like an eternity. Then Mac resigned to defeat and lowered his rifle. Later, to his chagrin, he learned that had he fired that last shot, Romero's armor would have finally gave and won him his freedom. After about 8 years, Mac decided, to the surprise of the other two, to stick with them and become a permanent part of the team, making the duo a trio.
Mac is a reserved person, but is willing to make a joke or two on a regular basis and chat. He is an expert sniper and very serious when out in the feild. While his mech doesn't quite suite his style, it hasn't kept him from ripping to shreds defences and pirates alike before they even knew what happened.

~Romero Numez~
Started the whole venture after meeting Jeromy, whom he became good friends with. He leads the group in all it's adventures, deciding wether they'll be saving the day, uncovering history, or ruining someone's day, or any combination of the three. He got the inspiration to start this whole thing from the stories left behind from his father, who had led a similar group of mercenary friends many years ago. He even uses the same symbol and name his father had used, even his old armor and mech.
He is quite boisterous and loves to brag of how his father had one time bested the famous Barrel Caskett back in the day. He is always scheming of what the next big thing they'll do, looking for something to earn them a name so they'll be swarming with customers looking for their skilled services. A well rounded man, his mech reflects this with it's above average balanced loadout and performance. He has mild tech experience, so in need, he can always take over repair duty.

Jeromy "Baracus" Taximerch
The strong man of the group, he handles a good deal of the grunt work, though usually not without Romero or Mac ending up with a brusied arm from a joking "nudge" from Jeromy. He first met Romero in a tavern in a town he was doing some work in for a digging corporation. Romero was going on about his father had bested Barrel Caskett, and how his father had had the best group of mercenaries this side of the mother load. At first Jeromy ignored him, but as he continued, Jeromy soon found himself entrhalled by the tales. They became chummy fast, and soon Romero came outta nowhere with a plan to restart his father's group, and asked if Jeromy wanted in. Normally he would have said no, but lately his job had lost his interest gradually, and the stories of Romero's father's group's escapades sounded exciting. So with some reluctance, he accepted the offer and never once regretted it.
He is quite talkative and jovial. Having seen the documentaries on the historic team that called itself the "A-Team", he started to emulate his favourite of the team, who he related too. So he has a bit of a tough act of late, even has a mohawk and wears the symbol of their group on a chain. He is quite adept with machines, and so handles the maintanence work on the equipment. Being the strong direct type, his mech is decked out with a huge hammer and heavy armor to take a beating as he closes in on his targets.

Oh, and here are there "weapons" :evillaugh:
